DESCRIPTION:Ever wished you had the opportunity to practice performing your song(s) in front of a live audience where you had the ability to work on overcome stage fright\, honing the ability to communicate with the audience through delivery\, body awareness & stage presence\, learning the proper use of a mic and other pertinent equipment on stage\, experiencing effective ways to communicate with accompanying musicians and sound/lighting technicians\, stage etiquette and so much more? \nWell\, your wish has come true!  Please join Jodi Farrell on Saturday\, January 26th from 11:00-2:00pm at the Namba Performing Arts Space \n$25.00 to participate and work with Jodi in front of a live audience.  Contact Jodi Farrell at jodifarrellsmusicstudio.com to sign up.  Space is limited so don’t delay! Deadline to sign up is January 18th. \n$10.00 to witness emerging artists leave it all on the Namba Stage. Tickets can be purchased online at nambaarts.com and at the box office. \nBy practicing performing skills ahead of time\, the performer becomes confidents in his or her ability to perform even in professional environments.  The focus can then be on the artistry of the music. \n

DESCRIPTION:1901 Speakeasy is Oxnard’s newest and coolest\, and only speakeasy bar. 1901 is a full bar with great throwback cocktails and live music.  Jodi and Jim will be bringing their unique arrangements of covers and originals\, loaded with harmonies which will have you reminiscing “where you were when you first heard this song” while listening to our eclectic set of musical tunes. There is a full menu available at the bar and you can also enjoy dinner beforehand downstairs at La Dolce Vita Restaurant and then mosey on upstairs to enjoy the sounds of Jodi and Jim. This will be our first time performing there and it will be great to have you join us. Make it a date night!
