Jodi Farrell’s Performance Workshop

Ever wonder what it takes in preparing to perform on stage in front of a live audience? Do you feel scared just thinking about it? The best way to overcome that fear is to feel the fear and do it anyway. If you are looking for a way to work through your fear and gain more confidence and experience doing what you love then this workshop is for you! If you already have experience performing in front of a live audience but want to gain more knowledge on mic, techniques, working with another musician, learning ways to get your lyrical message across, get feedback from an experienced coach and the audience, etc. then this workshop is for you, too!
You’ll find the environment to be safe and nurturing, as well as, loaded with information that will have you feeling glad you attended.
Participation fee is $30.oo If you simply wish to observe, FREE. All ages welcome. An opportunity to donate is available and will help support this event and the arts in our community.
Namba Arts is a perfect performing space to hold this event as it offers live sound and lighting in a professional atmosphere where you can “practice” in front of a live audience and receive expert advice from Jodi Farrell, who brings 25+ years of teaching and performing experience with her. Ron Barnett, piano accompanist extraordinaire, will also be on hand to lend his vast experience and accompaniment skills to the mix.
